Richetelli Refuses to Provide Basic Services

Mayor James L. Richetelli, Jr., Leader of the Milford Republican Party, flatly refuses to provide Saturday hours at the Tax Collector's Office; even during the busiest times of the year. Former Minority Leader Vincent Dithckus, Jr. (R) and other Aldermen were thrown under the bus by Richetelli.

When given the mandate 'do more with less' Richetelli allowed the Tax Collector's office to just do less. No attempt was made to improve efficiency.

Excessive Basic Services

At a recent board of Alderman meeting, it was suggested by Phil Vetro that citizens recycle their x-mas trees by "loading them on their car like they did when they bought them" and bringing them to an appropriate recycling site. The Mayor quickly responded by saying that the city would also pick them up curbside with the regular trash pick up. Thanks again Jim for putting more work on city employees, and the burden of paying their overtime on the taxpayers. If the citizens of Milford would clean up their own messes... we could all live in a nicer place!!! As for the Tax office, there is a reason the title "Assessor" begins with the prefix "A**!"
