Emily's mother is one of the 4th District's Alderman (the other is Phil Vetro, of course). Though Kerri is just completing her first year as Alderman, she immediately got her kids involved - and enthusiastic: as you can see from Emily's expression. Son Sean is an expert door-knocker, and accompanies his mother to vote before Dawn.
